ALIGARH, June 3 -- The Department of Philosophy, Aligarh Muslim University, organized an online Philosophy Lecture Series to mark the 300th birth anniversary of the renowned German philosopher, Immanuel Kant. The event brought together faculty members, researchers, and students from within and outside the university to explore Kant's enduring philosophical legacy.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Aamir Riyaz, Chairperson of the Department of Philosophy. Emphasizing the significance of commemorating Kant's intellectual contributions, Dr. Riyaz highlighted Kant's profound impact on the development of modern Western philosophical traditions.
