ALIGARH, Oct. 6 -- long campaign, conducted in response to the Government of India's call for a nationwide cleanliness drive, witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff across the university community.
The Department of Botany observed'SwachhataPakhwada'and'Swachhata Hi Seva'with an essay competition on"No to Single Use Plastic", a poster-making competition on"Waste Management", and a speech competition on"Water Conservation", followed by theSwachhata Pledgeand a plantation drive under'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'. Over 150 saplings of fruit, forest, and medicinal plants were planted in the Botanical Garden, with 75 students taking part.
