ALIGARH, Dec. 14 -- ALIGARH :The Legal Aid Cell of the Department of Law, AMU Malappuram Centre, Kerala, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, organised an Educational Jail Visit to Ponnani Sub Jail to provide students practical exposure to the functioning of the criminal justice system.
Guided by Sub Judge Shabir Ibrahim M., the visit familiarised students with prison administration, inmate living conditions and the availability of legal aid services. Professor M. Shahul Hameed, Director of the Centre, praised the initiative for its academic relevance.
