India, Sept. 2 -- ALIGARH : The Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), held a condolence meeting to mourn the passing of Prof. C.M. Naim, renowned scholar of Urdu and South Asian languages, and Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Department, Mr. Masood Ali Beg; former Dean, Faculty of Arts and former Chairman of the Department, Prof. S. Imtiaz Hasnain; Dr. Sabauddin Ahmed; Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan; Dr. Nazrin B. Laskar; and students of the department.
