ALIGARH, Jan. 21 -- week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in an offline mode on "Emerging Trends in Waste Management (ETWM-26)", scheduled from January 19 to 24, 2026, bringing together academicians, researchers and professionals to deliberate on contemporary challenges and sustainable solutions in waste management.
Addressing the inaugural session, Chief Guest, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. M. Mohsin Khan emphasised the vital role of higher education institutions in addressing environmental sustainability through research, innovation and capacity building. Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Nesar Ahmad highlighted the increasing relevance of advanced waste management strategies in the context of rapid urbanisation and industrial growth.
