ALIGARH, Feb. 5 -- week workshop on Food Preservation and Processing Methods with the objective of equipping students with practical and theoretical knowledge of food preservation and its importance in food safety, nutrition and sustainability.
Welcoming the participants, Prof Saba Khan, Chairperson, Department of Home Science, emphasised that integrating traditional knowledge with scientific food preservation techniques can significantly reduce food wastage, strengthen food security and prepare students for careers in the food industry and entrepreneurship.
