Mr Danish received the award for his research paper titled "AI-Driven Predictive Modelling of Flow over Sloping Porous Weirs for Sustainable Hydraulic Design." The study examines sustainable and hydraulically efficient alternatives to conventional impermeable weirs by integrating artificial intelligence with hydraulic engineering.
The research forms part of Mr Danish's ongoing PhD work being carried out under the supervision of Prof Mujib Ahmad Ansari and Dr Ajmal Hussain of the Department of Civil Engineering, AMU.
