ALIGARH, Dec. 14 -- ALIGARH :The Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of one of its most respected former teachers, Prof. Syed Khalid, who retired from the department in 1998 and passed away on the morning of December 8.
Prof. Khalid was widely admired for his commitment, sincerity and dedication throughout his distinguished academic and professional career. His notable research contributions and his unwavering efforts toward academic excellence continue to inspire faculty members and students. He played a pivotal role in the development and upgradation of the Hydraulics Engineering Laboratory, significantly enhancing the department's research and teaching infrastructure.
