ALIGARH, Feb. 5 -- Up position at a district-level Tug of War Championship organised at the Aligarh Exhibition Ground, by the Vice Election Officer of Aligarh in collaboration with the Amateur Tug of War Association. The open district-level event, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools and colleges of Aligarh district, aimed at promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness and a competitive spirit among students.
The Chief Guest Mr Kaushal Kumar, Vice Election Officer of Aligarh, underlined the role of sports in nurturing discipline, confidence and leadership qualities among students, and appreciated the efforts of the organisers while encouraging students to actively engage in sports alongside academics.
