Bhubaneswar, Dec. 16 -- Bhubaneswar : Educationist, social worker and Founder of KIIT and KISS Dr Achyuta Samanta will become a member of the Foundation of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). The announcement was made by FIVB President Fabio Azevedo on Sunday at a special programme here.
The FIVB is the world's largest volleyball governing body, with 222 member countries. Owing to his significant contributions to the promotion of sports, particularly volleyball, Dr Samanta has shared a close association with FIVB through KIIT, KISS, and at a personal level for the past eight years.
