Chandigarh/IBNS, April 16 -- Kolkata Knight Riders suffered an embarrassing defeat against Punjab Kings after Yuzvendra Chahal ransacked the opponent's middle-order through his match-winning fourfer in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday.
After a breezing, promising start from Prabhsimran Singh (30 off 15 balls) and Priyansh Arya (22 off 12 balls), PBKS soon lost their momentum when KKR bowlers led by Harshit Rana (3/25) and Varun Chakaravarthy (2/21) triumphed over the hosts leaving the crowd silent.
After PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer was sent back for a zero, the hosts lost wickets in quick succession to get bowled out for 111 in 15.3 overs.
