New Delhi/IBNS, May 19 -- Travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested last week on charge of espionage, had travelled to Pakistan ahead of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, media reports said.

Hisar Superintendent of Police (SP) Shashank Kumar Sawan on Sunday said the Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIO) were grooming Jyoti, a 33-year-old who was arrested for spying in favour of Pakistan, to become an asset.

Sawan said Jyoti visited Pakistan a number of times including once before the Pahalgam attack and also toured China.
