Mumbai, April 16 -- Wipro reported a net profit of Rs.3,570 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25, marking a 25.9% rise year-on-year and a 6.4% sequential increase, media reports said.

While the bottomline beat Bloomberg's estimate of Rs.3,350 crore, the topline underwhelmed-revenue came in at Rs.22,504 crore, short of the expected Rs.22,683 crore, according to a Business Standard report.

Revenue grew 1.3% over the previous year and 0.8% quarter-on-quarter.

IT services revenue slips sequentially

Revenue from the IT services business stood at $2.6 billion, up 2.3% from a year ago but down 1.2% on a sequential basis.

For the coming quarter, Wipro has projected revenue from this segment in the range of $2,505-2,557 million.
