India, Dec. 23 -- Social activist Greta Thunberg was arrested on Tuesday while participating in a protest in support of Palestine Action hunger strikers in London.

A group called Prisoners for Palestine claimed on X that Thunberg was arrested under the Terrorism Act for holding a placard that read: "I support Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide."

The group also shared a video on X showing the Swedish climate activist taking part in the demonstration.

According to Sky News, the protesters targeted the company on Tuesday morning because it provides services to Israeli-linked defence firm Elbit Systems.

Two activists reportedly sprayed red paint on the front of the building before police arrived and began making arrests.
