India, Jan. 16 -- AI startup Anthropic has appointed Microsoft veteran Irina Ghose as Managing Director for India, ahead of opening its first office in the country.

Ghose brings over three decades of experience in scaling global technology businesses.

She most recently served as Managing Director, Microsoft India, where she led enterprise artificial intelligence adoption across key sectors including banking and financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and government.
