Islamabad, Sept. 18 -- Newly-appointed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ramiz Raja has slammed New Zealand's decision to discontinue the tour in his country citing "security concerns'.

The New Zealand team on Friday cited security concerns as it backed out of its tour of Pakistan.

The team abandoned the tour just hours before the first match was to start between the two sides in Rawalpindi.

"Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistan Government made foolproof security arrangements for all visiting teams. We have assured the New Zealand Cricket of the same.
