India, Jan. 20 -- An Indian tourist died under mysterious circumstances after attending a music festival in Thailand's Phuket region, according to media reports.

The cause of death is yet to be determined.

The deceased has been identified as Jane Saksham, an Indian national. He collapsed while attending the Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand 2026 (EDC Thailand) music festival and was later declared dead at a hospital.

Local media reports said initial investigations found no visible injuries on his body.

Emergency responders rushed him by ambulance to Thalang Hospital, where he was reported to be in shock.

He later died during treatment.
