Washington DC/IBNS, Feb. 14 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has denied any discussion with US President Donald Trump on the bribery allegations against billionaire Gautam Adani levelled by the US government, media reports said.

Modi, who was on the US tour, was asked by a journalist about whether he discussed the issue with President Trump in the White House.

Trump made no remark on the question.

In November last year when Trump was not yet in his office, billionaire and Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani was charged with bribery and fraud in the United States.

Adani, who is one of the richest people in the world, was charged with a multibillion-dollar bribery and fraud scheme.
