Kolkata, Sept. 4 -- Volvo Car India on Monday unveiled its latest battery electric vehicle (BEV), the EX30, at its Kolkata dealership, marking a significant step in the automaker's push to expand its electric line-up in the country.
The compact SUV will be officially launched with pricing details later this month, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in October 2025.
The EX30, being assembled at Volvo's Hosakote plant in Karnataka, is touted as the company's most sustainable car yet, with the lowest carbon footprint of any Volvo EV.
Its interiors feature recycled materials such as denim, PET bottles, aluminium, and PVC pipes.
The model has earned a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
