Kolkata, March 9 -- Volvo Car India unveiled the new XC90 at SPL Volvo dealership in Kolkata on Friday.

Nikunj Sanwaria, Dealer Principal of SPL Volvo said the new Volvo XC90 sets a new standard for the luxury auto segment in the Indian market.

Volvo India said the launch of XC90 sets a benchmark for luxury SUVs in the city.

The national launch of the model took place at the Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi on March 4.

Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Car India termed the XC90 launch a "cornerstone of company's success".

"We are thrilled to unleash the new XC90 onto the Indian market," he added.
