India, Feb. 15 -- A young couple was found dead inside a car in Noida on Valentine's Day, in what police initially believe to be a suicide, though the man's family has raised doubts over the circumstances, media reports said.

The victims, identified as Rekha (26), a resident of Sector 58, Noida, and Sumit (32), from Trilokpuri, Delhi, were discovered inside a locked vehicle under Sector 39 police jurisdiction, with gunshot wounds. A pistol and cartridges were recovered from the car.

Police said both had been reported missing the day before, and missing person reports had been filed.
