India, March 29 -- An unidentified person shot dead a 51-year-old Chief Work Engineer of the Indian Air Force (IAF) at his residence in the Central Air Command Complex in Puramufti area of Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Satya Narayan Mishra.
According to reports, he was shot dead in the Engineer Colony inside the Air Force Station in the Bamrauli area.
After getting information, police, along with SOG, forensic and surveillance teams, went to the spot to investigate the incident.
They are investigating the CCTV cameras installed inside and outside the parameters around the Air Force.
