India, Feb. 3 -- A United Airlines flight, which was travelling from Houston to New York, was evacuated after catching fire during takeoff on Sunday, media reports said.

The incident came to light in a week when two other aviation mishaps occurred in the country.

In a footage that has gone viral on the internet, people could be heard screaming and panicking after seeing the flight caught fire.

Flames burst out of one of the aeroplane's wings as the aircraft began to roll forward for take off, reported New York Post.

United Airlines Flight 1382, an Airbus A320, aborted its takeoff from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, Texas, due to a "reported engine issue" just after 8:30 a.m., the FAA said in a statement as ...
