India, March 23 -- Police said two people have been arrested over the mass shooting at Young Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA, on Friday which left at least three people dead, media reports said.

Las Cruces Police said they have arrested one adult and one juvenile for their involvement in Friday's mass shooting at Young Park.

The arrested adult person was identified as Tomas Rivas, 20.

Police said the arrested juvenile is a 17-year-old.

"Rivas will be booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center where he will initially be held without bond. The juvenile will be remanded to the juvenile detention facility," read the statement issued by the police.

Police said the juvenile will be remanded to the juvenile detention facility.
