Amritsar/IBNS, Feb. 16 -- A second plane carrying 119 Indian deportees from the United States landed in Punjab's Amritsar on Saturday night, which is in line with US President Donald Trump's crackdown on illegal immigrants, media reports said.
The C-17 military aircraft landed at the Amritsar International Airport close to 11:40 pm.
The first US plane carrying 104 illegal Indian immigrants landed in Amritsar last week.
However, a massive row broke out after the Indians were sent back to the country in a captive state with handcuffs and chains.
Jaishankar stated in Parliament in the backdrop of the Opposition's criticisms of the Centre over the way the deported Indians were treated.
