India, Oct. 7 -- A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Indian-origin student Chandrashekar Pole at a gas station in Fort Worth, Texas, authorities said.
According to local media reports, Pole was working a part-time shift at the gas station on Friday when he was shot dead.
Police identified the suspect as Richard Florez, 23.
After the shooting, Florez allegedly became involved in a confrontation with another vehicle and fired multiple shots at it.
Florez then reportedly drove to the 8500 block of Meadowbrook Drive, where he rammed his vehicle through a metal gate and attempted to enter a private property. The residents called 911, leading to his arrest.
