Firozabad/IBNS, April 15 -- A police officer in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad was suspended after he mistakenly named a judge in the arrest warrant for theft.

According to reports, the judge ordered the cop to issue a non-bailable warrant against a man who was accused of theft.

Instead of listing the accused, the police officer 'mistakenly' named the judge in the warrant.

Sub-inspector Banwari Lal, who was posted at Thana Uttar, named Judge Nagma Khan in the warrant instead of Rajkumar, the accused against whom the judge had initially ordered a non-bailable warrant.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Saurabh took action after the error surfaced.
