India, Jan. 9 -- The Union Budget for 2025-26 will be presented in Parliament on February 1, which falls on a Sunday, with the Economic Survey scheduled to be tabled two days earlier on January 29.

Chief Economic Advisor V Anantha Nageswaran will present the Economic Survey, which outlines the state of the economy and sets the context for the annual budget.

President Droupadi Murmu has approved the schedule and will address a joint sitting of both Houses on the opening day of the session, as per parliamentary convention.
