India, June 10 -- Russia has launched missiles and drones on Ukrainian cities of Kyiv and Odesa, leaving at least one person dead on Tuesday, media reports said.

Explosions were heard across the capital as air defense systems engaged the targets, reported The Kyiv Independent.

Local authorities told the newspaper that four people were injured in Kyiv.

According to reports, a maternity hospital was damaged due to the attack in Odesa.

No patients or staff were injured at the facility, and were evacuated, local authorities told the newspaper.

"A residential building is on fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district. A woman is injured and is being treated," Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, told Kyiv Independent....
