India, July 29 -- Two men were stabbed to death in central London on Monday, close to Tower Bridge, police said.

The incident occurred at a place where violent crimes are rare.

Southwark in Central London is also known for attracting a large number of tourists every year.

Police and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and treated four people for stab wounds.

"A man in his thirties remains in hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing," police said.
