India, Jan. 1 -- US President Donald Trump appeared to signal growing frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin after sharing a sharply worded New York Post editorial that accuses the Kremlin of blocking progress toward peace and urges Washington to "turn up the heat" on Moscow.

Trump reposted the editorial on social media on Wednesday without adding any comment. Titled "Putin 'attack' bluster shows Russia is the one standing in the way of peace," the piece criticises the Russian leader for hardening his stance following recent talks with the US president.
