India, Sept. 30 -- US President Donald Trump on Monday said Washington was "very close" to securing peace in Gaza, unveiling a 20-point plan with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and warning Hamas that Israel would have America's "full backing" to destroy the militant group if it rejected the deal.
"Israel would have my full backing to finish the job of destroying the threat of Hamas but I hope we're going to have a deal for peace. If Hamas rejects the deal. they're the only one left.Everyone else has accepted it," Trump said, speaking alongside the Israeli leader at the White House.
