India, April 22 -- A Pahalgam terror attack survivor said the militants opened fire on them after asking about their religious identities in the popular Jammu and Kashmir tourist destination on Tuesday.

As per a video that has now gone viral, one of the victims was heard as saying: "We were eating bhelpuri when they approached us."

"They said my husband was not a Muslim and then shot at him," she said.

"Please, save my husband," she could be heard saying in the video.

The man, who was recording the video, could be seen assuring the woman that he will help her.
