India, Sept. 8 -- Senior journalist and The Telegraph's Editor Sankarshan Thakur died in a hospital in the National Capital Region after a brief illness on Monday.
He was 63.
Thakur, who was born in Patna on July 13, 1962, is known as one of the finest journalists of the country.
Before returning to The Telegraph for his second stint in 2009, he worked with The Indian Express, Tehelka and Third Eye TV, reported The Telegraph.
His last rites will be conducted at the Lodhi Road crematorium, New Delhi at 5 pm, the PCU earlier wrote on X.
