India, Oct. 1 -- India's sensational teen batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi has scripted a record by hitting a 78-ball century on day two of the first Youth Test between India 19 and Australia U19 at the Ian Healy Oval in Brisbane, media reports said.
Vaibhav slammed 113 off 86 balls offering India U19 a solid start after Australia U19 scored 243 in the first innings on day one.
The southpaw slammed nine fours and eight sixes in his 113-run innings.
However, Vaibhav's century is the fastest by any batter in a Youth Test on Australian soil.
He is also the youngest ever batter to slam a century in a Youth Test on Australian soil.
