India, Jan. 2 -- Ranveer Singh's December release Dhurandhar has been declared tax-free in Ladakh, further boosting the film's remarkable box-office run.

The announcement was made through an official social media post by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.

"Lt Governor Shri @KavinderGupta declares Bollywood film Dhurandhar tax-free in UT #Ladakh," the post read.

Dhurandhar continues to perform strongly in theatres across India. The film collected Rs.17.60 crore on January 1 alone, according to industry estimates.

Jio Studios said the film's total box-office collection has reached Rs.784.50 crore.

The film is currently the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2025.
