New Delhi, Feb. 12 -- Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited, has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) to explore joint opportunities in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and its value chain.

The MoU was signed at India Energy Week 2025 in the presence of Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, ONGC Chairman and CEO Arun Kumar Singh, and CEO & MD of TPREL Deepesh Nanda and other dignitaries.
