India, June 7 -- Tata Electronics, a pioneer in electronics manufacturing sector, has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), to boost the development of indigeneouselectronics and semiconductor solutions.

The MoU was signed to design, develop and manufacture advanced electronics systems, to ensure development of indigenous electronics and semiconductor solutions in line with the Government of India's vision for self-reliance.

"This MoU marks a significant step forward for Tata Electronics and BEL in jointly exploring end-to-end solutions to meet domestic requirements," read a statement issued Tata Electronics.
