India, Jan. 6 -- Two Hindu men have been killed in separate incidents in Bangladesh within 24 hours, highlighting a fresh spike in violence against the minority community in the Muslim-majority country.

The latest victim has been identified as Sarat Mani Chakraborty, a Hindu grocery shop owner in Charsindur Bazar in the Narsingdi district, near Dhaka.

According to reports, Chakraborty was attacked by unidentified assailants while running his shop.
