India, June 9 -- Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense on Monday said it detected seven sorties of PLA aircraft and eight PLAN vessels around its territory.

Officials said they were detected between 6 a.m. on Sunday and 6 a.m. on Monday.

"7 sorties of PLA aircraft and 8 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 5 out of 7 sorties entered Taiwan's southwestern and eastern ADIZ. #ROCArmedForces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly," the Ministry posted on X.

So far this month, Taiwan has tracked Chinese military aircraft 125 times and ships 71 times, reported Taiwan News.
