India, Feb. 15 -- India's run in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup gathered further momentum as the defending champions thrashed arch-rivals Pakistan national cricket team by 61 runs in a one-sided group-stage clash in Colombo on Sunday.

The win marked the eighth time India national cricket team have defeated Pakistan in T20 World Cup history, and their 175 was the highest total they have posted against their rivals across ten editions of the tournament.
