Mumbai, July 16 -- At a time when cricketers criticised the International Cricket Council over the Super Over rule that left England winner of the World Cup, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan also joined the group in attacking the cricket council over the issue.
Bachchan used a humourous post in criticising ICC. England defeated New Zealand after a Super Over clash to clinch the World Cup for the first time in the history of the tournament. In a match that got ended in a draw at the end of both sides playing 50 overs each and also at the end of the super over, England emerged the winner because of superior boundary count.
