Kolkata, May 18 -- Former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly felicitated the young rowing champions at the final day of the 50th All India Invitation Schools Regatta Championship at Lake Club on Saturday.

Ashok Hall and South Point High School held centre stage, winning a couple of gold medals each and emerging overall champions in the girls' and boys' sections, respectively.

Sanskar Chandra and Devansh Chakraborty of South Point High School and Ritsika Das and Sriya Laha of Ashok Hall earned fine doubles, being part of the winning teams in the double scull and fours events for junior boys and senior girls, respectively.
