Mumbai/IBNS, Dec. 8 -- Indian star cricketer Smriti Mandhana on Sunday announced the cancellation of her wedding with music composer Palash Muchhal, ending weeks of speculation surrounding her personal life.

The wedding had been scheduled for November 23, 2025, but was postponed indefinitely after her father, Srinivas Mandhana, suffered a medical emergency. Palash Muchhal was also reportedly hospitalized due to health issues.

The decision comes amid a social media firestorm triggered by leaked chats allegedly showing Palash in flirtatious conversations with choreographer Mary D'Costa.
