Mumbai/IBNS, Nov. 26 -- Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana's fiance Palash Muchhal was discharged from hospital on Wednesday, while uncertainty over the couple's rescheduled wedding date continues.

Earlier in the day, Smriti's father, Srinivas Mandhana, whose hospitalization had prompted the wedding postponement, was also discharged. Srinivas had been admitted after experiencing heart-attack-like symptoms.

Following the postponement, Smriti and some teammates, including Jemimah Rodrigues, removed pre-wedding photos and videos from social media.
