Ahmedabad, Feb. 1 -- Shubman Gill's record-breaking ton helped India clinch 2-1 in the three-match T20I series against New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium here on Wednesday.

Batting first, India piled on highest-ever 234/4 against New Zealand. In reply, the Black Caps were bowled out for 66 in 12.1 overs, handing out a thumping 168-run win. This in fact was India's biggest-ever win in T20Is.

The day was hogged by Gill who became just the 5th Indian batsman to score centuries in all formats of the game.

Gill remained unbeaten at 126 off 63 balls with the help of 12 boundaries and 7 sixes.
