India, Dec. 8 -- The youth driver of an ambulance died after unknown gunmen opened fire on the vehicle on the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway service road near Hund Badrai Bridge in Pakistan.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Ijaz Ali.
His brother Mahad Ali of Sheikh Dheri told The Express Tribune that he returned home briefly three days ago before heading back to the hospital.
The protesters cleared the roadway after negotiations with the police, who promised to arrest those behind the attack within three days.
