India, Nov. 15 -- A Chinese national of Glaisher Street, Greenwich, SE8 3, has been sentenced in the UK to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 14 years after pleading guilty to 24 counts involving six women.

He has been identified as Chao Xu.

"He will also be on the sex offenders register for life," read a statement issued by the Metropolitan Police.

These include four counts of rape, eight counts of assault by penetration, four counts of sexual assault, two counts of administering substances with intent, four counts of voyeurism, and two counts of upskirting. Two additional counts will remain on file which relate to a seventh victim.
