New Delhi.IBNS, May 17 -- The Congress has revealed its Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor was not its choice to lead an all-party delegation to brief the world on India's anti-terrorism stand, shortly after the Modi government bypassed the recommendations to include the format diplomat in the list of cross-party leaders.
After the government announced Tharoor will lead one of seven delegations, Congress media-in-charge Jairam Ramesh revealed the parliamentarian, who has of late praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign policies, was not the primary opposition party's one of four recommendations.
