India, May 19 -- Bollywood beauty Sharmila Tagore has arrived in Cannes for the special screening of her iconic movie, directed by Oscar-winning director Satyajit Ray, Aranyer Din Ratri, at the ongoing festival.

Tagore and her daughter and jewellery designer Saba Pataudi are currently visiting the European city for the Cannes Film Festival.

Sharing several images on Instagram, Saba wrote: "Cannes 2025! Ma n Me...moments to cherish."

The movie, which saw the pairing of yesteryear actress Sharmila Tagore and late Bengali icon Soumitra Chatterjee, was 4K restored for the iconic film event. The film is being showcased in the Cannes Classics section on May 19.
